THICKENERS

A thickener is a product in powder form containing modified potato starch and maize maltodextrins designed to increase the viscosity of food preparations or give a gelled consistency to liquids. This product is recommended to meet nutritional requirements in cases of dysphagia. It can be incorporated into fruit- or vegetable-based preparations, dishes with a creamy consistency and beverages (water, fruit juices, tea, coffee).
